Tungsten plate, also known as high temperature resistant tungsten plate, is widely used in various fields due to its high melting point, low thermal expansion coefficient, good thermal conductivity and high resistance coefficient. For example: vacuum furnace heat shield, tungsten evaporation boat, electron tube grid, heat shield, high temperature furnace components, X-ray tube tungsten target, etc. In addition, it is also used in the military field.

Pure tungsten plate rolling process

The tungsten plate is heated to a certain temperature, kept warm for a certain period of time, and cross-rolled in one fire and one pass. The rolling process is divided into two stages: blanking and finished product.

1. In the blanking stage, the tungsten plate is first processed along the plate shape, that is, it is first rolled in the width direction, and then turned 90° for rolling in the forward direction until the blanking stage is completed. After the blanking is completed, the tungsten plate is placed in lime powder to cover it to prevent oxidation and waste of the tungsten plate. After the tungsten plate is cooled in the lime powder, the material washing process is carried out. The tungsten plate is placed in a molten caustic soda pool, and its surface is dissolved, and then taken out. After cooling, it is rinsed in an acidic solution, and finally washed with water to complete the material washing process. Generally, the number of rolling passes in the blanking stage is as close as possible to the number of rolling passes for the finished product, so that the grains after rolling can present a uniform and fine structure. Before the finished product is produced, the tungsten plate needs to be surface treated to remove the oxide scale and eliminate cracks.

2. In the finished product stage, the tungsten plate is rolled again at 90° until it is rolled to the finished product size.
